Happy to be back in LA for Anime Expo this year, MangaGamer revealed two new acquisitions at their industry panel tonight.
The first announcement of the night was the newest BL title from parade: Lkyt.
Every thousand years, the Dark Reign rises and pushes forth to destroy all humanity, but those of the Shoreline Nation have dedicated their lives to defending the world from this recurring threat, using the magic within themselves and their bonds between each other to stave off these vicious foes. It is here that Tasuku trains, expecting the next rise to come generations later, but now as signs of the Dark Reign are uncovered with their nation still unprepared, Tasuku finds himself thrust into a battle that will determine the fate of the world.
Can two people find hope for the future with an outlook so bleak? Is it possible for friendship to turn into intimacy on the eve of humanity's destruction? Can love save the world?
Find out in this sombre romance at the harsh edge of the world.
Next to be announced was the latest title in the infamous Rance series - Rance 03.
The Kingdom of Leazas finds itself suddenly under siege from within by the elite forces of Helman and their terrifying allies - the fiends! As the kingdom falls, Princess Lia sends her most trusted servant to find the only man who can save her kingdom - the raunchy adventurer, Rance! Join Rance as he braves dungeons and plows through heroines on his quest for Chaos - the hyper weapon capable of slaying the fiends! Will Rance succeed in retaking the Kingdom of Leazas? He seems confident he will, but what price will he demand from the maidens he rescues?!
This new, modern remake of the old classic features updated visuals, a revamped battle system that adds skills and party tactics to the combat from Rance 01, and a never-before included feature in the Rance series - voice acting!
