Bandai Namco Amusement began streaming a promotional video on Friday for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Last Survivor, a new arcade game based on the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime. The video previews the game's playable characters, and reveals that the game's delayed winter 2019 release date.
The game was originally slated to release this summer in Japan.
The game will be a "battle royale" game with up to 20 players fighting each other until one is the last player standing. The game will feature playable characters from Part 3 (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders), Part 4 (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable), and Part 5 (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind) of Hirohiko Araki's original manga.
The most recent game based on Araki's manga is the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Records game for iOS and Android that debuted in 2017. The JoJo's Pitter-Patter Pop! SD character smartphone puzzle game launched last October.
