CFK Releases Wonder Boy Returns Remix Game on Switch on May 23

Korean game publishing company CFK announced on Wednesday that it will release the Wonder Boy Returns Remix game on Nintendo Switch on May 23 in English and Japanese. The new version of the game will include "anime-style visuals" with "HD quality" and a new "Charge Shot" feature. Original game creator Ryuichi Nishizawa is supervising the game's development.
CFK had released Wonder Boy Returns on Steam in October 2016.
Escape (now Westone Bit Entertainment) developed the original Wonder Boy arcade game, and Sega published the game in 1986. Game Atelier developed the most recent game in the series, titled Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. FDG Entertainment published the game for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch on December 4. The game is slated to launch on Steam this year.
