The September issue of Shonengahosha's Young King Ours magazine will announce on Wednesday that Hajime Yamamura's orchestral manga Ten ni Hibiki (A Sound to Heaven) will end in the magazine's October issue on August 30. The final chapter will feature 48 color pages.
Ten ni Hibiki tells the story of Kuzumi Akio, a young boy who plays the violin. One day, he watches his childhood friend, Sonari Hibiki, conduct an orchestra perfectly despite her young age. Akio is impressed and decides to further his career in music. The story follows him into adulthood as he tries to master the instrument.
Yamamura started Ten no Hibiki in 2009. The ninth volume was released on May 30.
Yamamura's Kamisama Dolls manga ended in 2013. The manga inspired a 13-episode anime series that aired from July to September 2011. Crunchyroll streamed Kamisama Dolls in various countries as it aired in Japan.
Yamamura is currently serializing the Aoki Ao no Atopos sci-fi manga in Shogakukan's Sunday GX magazine.
