Big Gangan Magazine Flips Manga Page as 'Punishment'

Editors: 8th page flipped since Haru ni Naru to Uzu Uzu Shichau author missed deadline without notice

The April issue of Square Enix's Big Gangan magazine intentionally flipped the eighth page of the four-panel manga Haru ni Naru to Uzu Uzu Shichau by Ayumi Fujimura (no relation to the similarly named voice actress). At the bottom of the page, the editors wrote, “Due to the author missing the deadline without notice, we are flipping this page as punishment. We apologize to all readers this may cause trouble to.”

Fujimura's manga began serializing in the magazine in 2011. The story is described as an impossible-to-understand story of youth of high school girls at the boarding school called "Wastelands Academy." The first compiled volume of the manga was released in Japan in December.
