Code Geass Arm Cushions Let Fans Rest in Lelouch, Suzaku's Arms

Dream Cushions with characters' upper bodies drawn by designer, animation director

The hobby goods maker Kotobukiya announced on Tuesday that it will begin offering Dream Cushion Covers of the characters Lelouch Lamperouge and Suzaku Kururugi from the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion franchise. The cushions are L-shaped pillows decorated with male characters' upper bodies to let fans "rest in the arms of a charming man."

The anime's character designer Takahiro Kimura personally drew the illustration for Lelouch, while chief animation director Yuriko Chiba drew Suzaku's. There are two different illustrations on the front and back of each cushion cover — "the face of the steadfast boyfriend" on the front, and "the face he only reveals to you" on the reverse.

The covers will arrive in April for 4,725 yen each (about US$58).

Kotobukiya already offers Dream Cushion Covers adorned with the Durarara!! characters Shizuo Heiwajima and Izaya Orihara, as well as the casts of Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 1000%, the Fate/Zero anime, and Evangelion.

According to Kotobukiya, "the covers are pleasantly smooth and soft to the touch. Wrapping yourself in the embrace of these plush cushions will take you to your dreams."
