Aw man, this looked... not that great. Which is a shame because I love the light novel. One of those increasingly rare cases where it's an honest to god fantasy story and NOT an isekai. With a romance I enjoyed too. It's a shame it might just have at best "okay" animation for its adaptation.

It looks fine, which is more than enough for everyone normal.

So they had enough done for a teaser of the first episode at least.
The visuals look solid by ENGI standards.

Yea standard generic isekai level animation. Nothing to get excited about. I hope the story is good.

A show that looks more than just "okay." I thought that was clear. Not sure why you're so upset by that.

I don't know if I'd even call it "okay". Any of the shots with the two main characters look pretty bereft of life and whatever is going on with the monster animation is... bizarre.
