Kouki is basically voicing an older, more mature and more nihilistic version of Tomura.

This looks incredible and I am dying on this hill. Best of luck to Mutou and all the rest of the team.

I like how the marketing (especially the text on that promotional artwork) is implying that this is going to be a faithful telling of the manga, in the style of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (or Hellsing Ultimate)... When that looks NOTHING like the manga. I'm not just talking about the visuals; everything about it from the story to the tone looks like something they completely made up.

Also, if they needed to add a word to show it was a remake, in the style of Brotherhood..., why would they not just call it, you know, Trigun Maximum?
Too similar to Hellsing Ultimate, maybe?

LMAO at the text in the image. When I read that, it felt like someone spit in my face because they already made their intentions clear from the start.

I'm glad Seki and Kamiya didn't reprise their roles as Legato and Zazie because they no longer look the same. Roxas! TARAKO is a surprise. Nakao is a nice addition.

Speaking of Zazie the Beast. Now, I know Zazie is in Trigun, but due to the previous article with Roberto De Niro obviously being taken from Robert De Niro, when I saw Zazie the Beast, my first thought was Zazie Beetz. Obviously, she was born a few years before Trigun started, but she's relevant now, so naturally she'd pop into the head. This is just a funny coincidence.

It's such a tease, this show. Parts of it look like they just pulled it out of their collective ass, but other parts look more like the manga. Why couldn't they commit to either doing something entirely different or doing a direct adaptation, something Trigun fans really wanted?

This feels all over the place. Like some weird amalgamated, revamped, hybrid adaption of the manga rather than...a straight up adaption of the manga.

Also, I get why they cast Uchiyama as Legato, but he just sounds too high-pitched for it.

I am so NOT looking to see this new adaptation: bad animation and ugly as hell.

My guess is, they are gonna adapt the basic story of the manga (basically the whole Earth fleet plot that didn't make it int the first anime), but changing most events and removing lots of characters, so it can fit into 13 episodes.

Not sure I'm feeling the new Legato though, I'll be disappointed if he isn't a raging lunatic like in the manga.

More like because Maximum is literally the name of the second half of the manga.

Considering Trigun fans seem to be divided on what they want and don’t want that’s probably why.

So Livio is confirmed? I guess Milly will be remembered for her brave sacrifice.

But if they're really gonna just adapt the manga... Why change everything? We've NEVER seen Livio animated in any capacity as he is and we might never will.

I mean, I wish they'd just save the reimaging for AFTER we get the regular ol' Livio animated. The text on the image seems to imply we might never and this is supposed to be our Trimax adaptation.
