Had to watch the video, less about the dance and more about the song since I hadn't listened to it yet today. The full song is also on iTunes in the US, and I'm currently listening to it on YouTube to decide where I want the full length or TV sized versions...

That dance has always looked to me like it was inspired by the ED of Peeping Life. It's even got Eiko dancing on a conveyer belt. The rhythms of the songs are different, but they both feature that wavy arm thing and some other bits here and there. Anyway, the mocap looks cool all in one place without being broken up like in the OP.
