I have the feeling that we (the anime community) are losing key talent faster than it can be naturally nurtured.

R.I.P. and thanks for all the memories.

Another great mechanical animator taken from this world far too soon. Unbreakable Machine Doll's ED is one of the most iconic of all time. Rest in peace.

He has some absolutely stellar credits as key animator on things known for having great animation. I really enjoyed Plastic Little and Legend of Lemnear a lot more than I expected too, so thanks for giving us some fanservice shows with more substance. 55 is way too young. Thank you, Yoshimoto-san.

I can't believe this just happened!! I am always extremely saddened when I hear of the passing of someone in the anime industry (as well as people in the manga, light novel, and game industries), especially when they are relatively young, as in the case of Kinji Yoshimoto. This makes me really sad also because I have been a big fan of his work. You will definitely be greatly missed. Rest in peace.

I wasn't sure at first, but when I read the list of his projects, I immediately realized he was amazing in his line of work.

My condolences.

Oooh. Fifty-five. That's too soon to leave us. I had a look at his career. He did both "Bionic Six" and "Jem." While he did some ecchi stuff,he also was capable of more mainstream work. All in all,it's sad to see him go.

RIP,Mr. Yoshimoto. You left us far too soon and it's sad to see you go. Sad
