If the series is true to the visual inventiveness of the trailer, this could be very interesting, even with the CGI.
I wonder about the rise of anthropomorphized animals in anime of late. They're a way of adding another layer of abstraction --- letting the characters do things that wouldn't be acceptable in human characters, even animated ones. |
