So it’s been delayed to 2019, huh? Well, I’m fine with it as I hope that Kyoto Animation will be able to deliver the goods and not rush things. That subtitle, though, worries me. So is this film going to be the last anime for the franchise, then? If it is, then I’ll be a sad camper as this series as been one of my most favorite anime from the decade and I would like to see the main characters as third-years too, gosh darn it. I’m a little surprised at how much this franchise has had such a profound impact on me and now, I would also like to notice that key visual. Kumiko looking older makes me happy and sad at the same time. Sad I sincerely hope that this isn’t the end.

I wish I could be more excited about this movie. Sound! Euphonium is also one of my favorite anime franchises, but I always get a little depressed when I remember that PCUSA doesn't know shit about releasing their anime on BD. Hopefully Sentai or Funimation are able to take over Euphonium soon.

Still, I hope this movie is well done, especially if it is the conclusion to the franchise.

^ I'm pretty sure Pony Canyon owns the rights so it won't go to anyone else.

I am aware, but their U.S. subsidiary is incompetent.

Tell me about it. There's a dub of Rokka now but it's UK only and they haven't said anything about it. Really great handling of the license, guys. Rolling Eyes They should just shut their doors and give Euphonium to a licensor who knows what they're doing.
