This piece doesn't have a credited author… if each review is written by a different person, I think it would be nice to know who wrote what.
Edits: I think the word you're looking for is "afterword". Secondly, if you're trying to avoid using a gendered pronoun because a pen name like "Nyun" doesn't give you a hint, you could just say "In the afterword…" (OTOH, if you know that "they/their" is Nyun's preferred pronoun, then by all means go for it). |

Yes, yes it is. 
It was probably just proving the old dad joke about assumptions, but I used a gender neutral pronoun based on the thought that if an author is using a pen name that's gender neutral, then pronouns should follow suit. My typos aside, it really is a good book. |

I agree with the points on Unwanted Undead Adventurer; the story and characters are very interesting, but the writing is at least 60% "Oh by the way..." exposition that made it an absolute slog to read. I may give volume 2 a try, but i'm undecided.
Both Average Abilities and Me, A Genius?! were a lot of fun, especially Genius. It's amazing to what lengths the author takes this premise; at one point, i was sure that if the protagonist sneezed, he'd be hailed as the inventor of a new wind-based super weapon or something. Part of me wonders if the book is a subtle take on "imposter syndrome," as some parts make it kinda vague whether or not he actually isn't the genius everyone thinks he is.The book is an absolute riot, i heartily recommend it. |

He reminded me of a character from the mad-scientist webcomic Narbonic. The character in question is a latent mad genius who hasn't yet awakened to their full abilities due to a mental block on realizing how many of the things they do violate the laws of physics. (In that case, it's in everyone's interest to prevent said awakening, since such events invariably activate the "mad" in "mad genius" and typically lead to substantial carnage before the individual learns to fake some semblance of sanity.) Sadly, progress on this novel has slowed way down. The webnovel version added 54 chapters in its first year, 10 in its second, 11 in its fourth, and 2 in its fifth. Last chapter was posted March 2017. Only three print volumes are on Amazon.co.jp, and the last came out in August 2016. |

I've read the e-book of Average Abilities twice now and have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. I can't comment on any of the others since I haven't read them.

I was interested in Toradora until I saw Seven Seas is publishing it. I can't count on them to finish it so why even start? Maybe I'll pick them up if they complete the series but I highly doubt it. On that note, still waiting on more Boogiepop.
I also wish we'd start getting something beyond the monster girl/video game dungeon genre. The Pet Girl of Sakurasou, Baka and Test, Beyond the Boundary, and My Mental Choices are Completely Interfering with my School Romantic Comedy are all relatively modern anime I've watched that I'd love to read the continuation of and still haven't been licensed. I'd also be interested in seeing the 2 High Speed! novels licensed - Free! is popular enough. And one final thought: Sex is obviously selling well for LNs which explains a lot of these licenses but in that case where is High School DxD? |

I think the light novel industry is much larger/stabler than it was during Seven Seas initial forays into it (which is getting to be quite a few years ago, isn't it), so they're much more likely to finish it, especially since they haven't really gotten a reputation for dropping series since then. Also, they'll be more likely to finish the series if people show interest/buy the series while it's still coming out. If you like the series, there's no point in holding a grudge from a time when the market was pretty different. |

Cross Infinite World does a pretty good job in that respect, although quite a few are still fantasy. Both Mia and the Forbidden Medicine Report and Obsessions of an Otome Gamer are really good (and the latter isn't fantasy), and AkaOni is a contemporary vampire story. |
