No but really, after the OVA I tought they were done with the anime. Oh well, i'm glad I was wrong then, altough the P4:Golden anime was quite bad, the P5 OVA was pretty good, so i'm crossing my fingers for a good adaptation, be it in movie or TV format. |

P4 Golden anime had an absolutely smart storytelling, making it a very well acceptable sequel to the previous P4 anime, it should never be considered as a standalone product (the usage of the second opening from the other anime during the plot twist should have made that clear enough). People often downplay it as an inferior adaptation, when it never once tried to be a sole product. The whole point of P4G the animation was to adapt Marie's route, which had spoiler[ a mass amnesia/memory loss related plot point, making it fit perfectly well as a part of the first anime, thus the direct link with the old opening ]. |

Well, I wished this came full circle with IG doing the anime, but the power of A-1 were too strong. What's next? Final Fantasy XV anime by A1? Well, as long as Makoto is perfect then everything is fine.

This is fabulous news honestly! I loved the game so so so much. I hope this is 24 episodes at least to be a good adaptation otherwise I feel it'd be rushed.

I'm guessing they'll stick to doing TV series for Persona adaptations from now on. No more 4 theatrical movie deals like Persona 3. I can see Sentai Filmworks grasping for ownership of this title immediately now.

I highly doubt it. The anime is using A-1 which makes it almost a near lock for AoA as they also were the ones who released the OVA. If Sentai does some how get it, it will surely get sealed behind the double pay wall that is Anime Strike(out). Otherwise, yay for an anime adaptation! |

It's going to Aniplex and probably won't get dubbed for the same BS reason they never bothered to dub the Persona 3 movies. |
