Is there a way to make something like a table of contents for extremely long message threads? I'm thinking something along the lines of links that go directly to key points/posts within the message thread.
Basically, I'm looking for a solution so people don't have to wade through tons of crap just to get to one valid thought. Hopefully this would also cut down on redundant posts. Is something like this even possible? Any other ideas? |

That would be impossible. people bounce from point to point so rapidly and there's always someone digging back up an old point someone already made. Then you run into the problem of quotes and what not. It's just far more work than it's worth for something that's going to dissapear after people have lost interest a month later, energy better spent elsewhere on the site. Emerje |
